The only real change is that I put shrink tubing around the pickup jack. Here are some photos of the more-or-less finished product.     Full view. Tailpiece and transducer jack. As it turns out, the ground wire isn't really necessary, because 1) the copper foil is making contact with the tailpiece, and 2) the shielding seems to have been a lot more effective than I thought it would be.
